Louise Recommends

For cocktail lovers

Domino Club - a speak easy style bar hidden in a barber shop. They sometimes have live Jazz music (occasionally you have to pay an entry fee but it goes to the band)
Below Stairs - story telling style cocktails and they have some very talented mixologists.

My favourite restaurants

Stuzzi - traditionally Italian, home-made pasta and exciting dishes with unusual flavours.
Living Italy - the best Aperol spritz in Leeds and I recommend ordering some 'picky bits'
Bulgogi Grill - Korean BBQ cooked on a hot plate at your table.
Ibérica - Luxurious tapas restaurant with some amazing sparkling wines. Make sure you check out the toilets, whose design is stunning.

A bit of culture

The Leeds Grand Theater - watch a play, ballet, opera or much more in the stunning gothic grade 2 listed theatre. A true time capsule.

A little further afield

Harewood House - one of the 10 most historical stately homes in England. The stunning Harewood grounds and estate are a 30 minute journey away.
Roundhay Park - One of the largest parks in a city boundary in Europe only a 15-minute journey away. Have a cream tea in the mansion or picnic in front of the mini castle.
