Well, where to start? Liverpool is not only rich in history and culture but also in the food & drink scene. And you don’t need to go too far. Just by the glorious Castle Street, you will find vibrant venues for an after-dinner cocktail or even for a summer refresher.

Start at McGuffies – a cosy and sophisticated cocktail bar right at our doorstep.
Try the gin cocktails based at Liverpool Gin Distillery. I suggest Aviation..superb! If you love even more Gin than cocktails, just extend your visit there and why not make your VERY OWN gin at their Gin Lab? A Nice souvenir indeed.
Try out Bobo – With a Latin touch,Iberic Penisula come alive here. Inspired by summer evenings eating Frango Piri-Piri in the Algarve and across the Iberian Peninsula, BoBo brings the region’s unpretentious drinking and dining culture to the Northwest. From Sangria to Vino Verde or even a Pastel de Nata after a bocadillo, I must admit that this one has my heart.

At Queen Avenue Liverpool city centre is a stunning Victorian arcade that is destined for the screen you will find Queens Bistro and R & H Fine Wines shop. If you just looking for the perfect rushed wine gift you will find the most exquisite, organic, and biodynamic from around the world.. If you want to have a wine experience paring with food, Queen's Bistro you can find the match made in heaven. They offer a very simple, fresh menu that will elevate your palates.

Hidden Gem.. Just around the corner, we have Puffin Rooms. From live jazz nightly to Sunday afternoon Blues, this is a place to relax and to wrap up the night. If you are a whiskey lover, this is the place to go, just at our doorstep! They also have a Cigar Room.

My choice…

Casa Italia... It really feels like you are in Italy From the ambiance to the team and of course the fresh and delicious food, this is one not to be missed. I definitely recommend the Cannelloni. The best I ever had (apart from mom’s of course).

Noso where you can experiment the authentic Venezuelan food. Located in Baltic Triangle for a more street food vibe and in Fazakerley for a proper sit-down meal.

Piri Piri in Omskirk. As a Portuguese, I am always trying to find food from home, everywhere I go. 30 minutes away from us, you will find this right Hidden Gem. Luis, the owner, will be an amazing and authentic host. Try the Sea Food Rice (Arroz de Marisco), an absolute treat. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

For a relaxed treat...

Maya Blueness Spa at the Titanic Hotel. Hidden in the underground of Stanley Dock lies this amazing wellness, their subterranean sanctuary.

Hope Street Hotel Spa – The Uk’s Best City Spa in the Good Spa Guide Awards 2023. As part of your journey, try the Courtyard vitality pool.

My favourite area..

Where you can find both peacefulness and excitement: Sefton Park. Go for a walk in the park and don’t forget to visit the jewel of the park and Victorian glasshouse – Sefton Park Palm House. Have a quick stop at Lark Lane – where you will find a variety of food and drinks independent venues for every taste!
