Wagyu beef is a breed that originated in Japan and is renowned for its unique flavour and quality profile. Our A5 marbling grade 12 Wagyu sirloin thin steak features a superb level of marbling (12 being the highest), making it exceptionally tender and providing a delectable buttery texture. This steak was the Gold Medal winner in 2019 at the World Steak Challenge!
Our Team presents the Wagyu steak to our guests before cooking, allowing them to appreciate the intricate marbling that is the hallmark of this exceptional cut. The steak is then cooked to perfection on the grill, ensuring it retains its succulent juices and flavours. To further elevate the already remarkable flavour of this prime cut of meat, it's accompanied by four different salts: Malbec, Garlic, Smoked, and Paprika. The addition of these salts enhances the flavour of the Wagyu and adds a unique element to the tasting experience.
This Destacados dish is beautifully paired with Ardbeg Uigeadail, a premium whisky from Islay, Scotland. Ardbeg Uigeadail has earned a reputation as one of the finest single malt whiskies in the world. Distilled on the Isle of Islay, it is renowned for its deep, smoky flavour, which comes from being matured in sherry casks and heavily peated malt. This gives it a unique character that perfectly complements the A5 grade Wagyu beef in this dish.
