Cocktail & Mocktail Delights
Cocktails (and their non-alcoholic counterparts) are one of the many pleasures we love to indulge in, Fazendeiros. Today, we’re excited to announce our brand new drinks menu – available from today 3rd October 2018 at all Fazenda restaurants.
Our team have been hard at work, and they’ve produced a menu with an incredible selection of twenty five new cocktails. From classics with a twist, to new concoctions with South American touches, we are sure you will find something you’ll love.
In this week’s blog, we wanted to show you one of our team’s new creations, and one you can try making at home.
Inspired by White Lady, the 1920s British classic, our Italian twist on this cocktail is an alcoholic delight. If you love citrus, this one is for you Fazendeiros.
The main tasting note of this cocktail is a super refreshing citrus blast, with a subtle flavour of pistachio adding depth. The underlying notes of peach and botanicals elevate the cocktail and introduce some fruity flavours that complement the centre-stage citrus with ease.
Garnished with the South American physalis flower, a taste of our roots finishes off this gorgeous drink.
This cocktail is a classy crowd-pleaser with its uniquely refreshing flavour.
Here’s how you can make your own at home:
45ml Prìncipe De Los Apóstoles gin
15ml Giffard Crème de Pêche
15ml Monin Pistachio
25ml lemon juice
1 egg white (optional)
1. Add all of the ingredients and some cubed ice to a cocktail shaker and make sure it is securely closed.
2. Shake for roughly 10 seconds to mix the ingredients thoroughly.
3. Pour it through a strainer into a glass (ideally a coupe glass!) to ensure it is smooth.
4. Garnish with a physalis flower.
