Meet Ineta - Relationship Marketing Manager

This week for the blog we travelled to Birmingham, where we met Ineta, our Relationship Marketing Manager, for a chat over coffee - and some husky hugs from her dog Storm!

1- Tell us your Fazenda Story

My Fazenda journey started in 2019 in Birmingham. I joined the team as a receptionist and in a couple of months progressed to the role of Reception Manager while I was studying Marketing at Birmingham City University. On the day of my very last exam and dissertation submission I had a very long chat with our Managing Director about what I want to do in the future. The goal was clear, I wanted to start my career in marketing.

That's when I was fortunate to step into the Relationships & Events Manager role. In this role I was able to take word-of-mouth marketing to another level, extending beyond the experiences of our guests and into the wider community of Birmingham, through networking and building my own personal brand. I won the Future Face of Hospitality & Retail award in 2021, which was an honour.

In April 2022, I was promoted within Fazenda to Relationship Marketing Manager. My role includes looking after the Relationship Marketing in all current 5 Fazenda cities and leading a team of Relationships & Events Managers.

2- Top 3 things about your current role you'd like to share with us

Everyday is different. The role is challenging, but it's so much easier when you are passionate about what you are doing and have a brilliant support system around you.

Building trust within the team is the best investment any company can do. I'm so proud of our marketing team.

I get to work with a lot of exciting brands that I have been admiring from afar for years. Fazenda Bishopsgate will have some incredible collaborations. Watch this space!

3- What advice would you share with someone wishing to go into relationship marketing?

People people people. My relationships are built through trust and rapport ensuring not only our corporate clients but all of our guests feel valued, listened to and understood. If going into relationship marketing, the person needs to ensure they can tick all three.

4- Tell us about your ideal weekend activities

Tough one! Meeting friends for a couple of drinks or a coffee date. Catching up with people I love. Long walks with my adorable husky Storm. Switching off from the whole world and reading a book. I highly recommend reading ''This is Going to Hurt: Secret Diaries of a Junior Doctor'' by Adam Kay. One of the last books I read and I can't stop thinking about it.

5- Favourite Lithuanian food

It has to be Cepelinai! The most traditional dish you could try if you ever visit Lithuania. The easiest way to describe it: potato dumplings with meat. It must be served with sour cream.

6- Favourite Fazenda Meat, Wine and Dessert.

Our signature cut - Picanha.
Appellation Paraje Altamira, Catena Zapata, Malbec, the wine that made me fall in love with red wines.
For the dessert, everyone's favourite - Dulce De Leche Coulant.

We're googling Cepelinai to learn how to make it as it sounds delicious indeed!
