Meet Ineta | Fazenda Birmingham's Relationships & Events Manager

Continuing on with our 'Meet the Team' series, where we introduce you to various members of our fantastic team, this week we're speaking to Ineta Svedaite, Relationships & Events Manager at Fazenda Birmingham.

The newest member of our relationship marketing team, Ineta has been such a fantastic addition, and is truly flourishing quickly within her role. She couldn't have been more excited when we asked to sit down with her and ask her some questions so that you can get to know her better, Fazendeiros.

Which part of your job is your favourite?

"My favourite part of the job is meeting new people and learning their story. I find it fascinating that so many people in corporate and hospitality businesses have diverse backgrounds, and some of the stories from their past on how they got where they are now are so inspirational. I love to listen and really understand people - this helps me not only in my personal life but in relationship marketing as well. This allows me to deliver a personalised experience in events and also nurture actual relationships with guests. Even my dissertation was based on building brand loyalty within restaurants."

We think it's fantastic that we have guests from so many different backgrounds, and we agree, we love hearing your stories, Fazendeiros

Who is your biggest idol and why?

"At the moment I'm inspired by Lithuanian entrepreneur Dovile Urbanaite. She runs her own wedding planning company in Tenerife, and she recently moved back home and created the 'She is Glowing' community, which is aiming to bring all women together to inspire each other. Dovile regularly shares her stories of how she achieved where she is now; she keeps it real and talks about the lower points which made her stronger. It is amazing to see how one motivated lady can draw in so many people and encourage them to do what they love. I believe that the key to success is always being open to new challenges and to support those who need motivation."

This last part really resonated with us, when we help lift others up we all grow!

What is the biggest challenge in relationship marketing?

"Changing peoples' perception of the relationship marketing role within hospitality. People are used to seeing this role in the corporate world, however within the hospitality industry it's rare that restaurants focus on building and nurturing relationships with their guests."

We think it's great that we're starting to see a shift in this perception. Nurturing relationships is the way we believe we connect best with you all.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

"I love reading books. My favourite at the moment is 'Atomic Habits' by James Clear. I'm always trying to find something motivating and inspiring. Recently I started the 30 days yoga challenge. I will keep you updated with how that goes!"

We’ll report back, Fazendeiros!

Which cut of meat do you consider to be the best and why?

"Porco Doce - our pork collar served with cinnamon and honey sauce. I was not a big fan of pork until I tried this cut. The sweet taste creates a mouthwatering experience. It's not your usual combination and this creative mix is the one to remember."

We couldn't agree more with this one - delightfully sweet, and it's impossible not to go back for seconds.

Do you have any questions for Ineta, Fazendeiros? She'd love to hear them over on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter or in the comments below.
