Our Roots
In honour of refined Churrasco Experience, this week we're delving into South American gaúcho traditions and the art of grilling.
Churrasco, the essence of Brazilian barbecue, originates from the gaúchos of the Pampas, who traditionally skewered meats and grilled them around an open wood flame. This method celebrates the simplicity of grilling while honouring community and tradition.
More than a grilling technique, Churrasco is central to Brazilian gatherings where family and friends come together to celebrate. The rhythmic carving, smoky aromas, and joyful atmosphere reflect the essence of their culture — sharing, connection, and conviviality - something which is at the core of the Fazenda Experience.
Across our restaurants, we honour the authenticity of Churrasco, bringing the rich flavours and traditions of South America to your table. Forever a central part of this experience is 'rodizio', - a unique way of serving. Passadores offer continuous tableside service of freshly grilled meats, carved directly at your table.
Our grilling method replicates traditional Churrasco, achieving the perfect salty bark exterior and juicy interior. From the adored Picanha to succulent Sirloin as well as cuts of pork, lamb and chicken, each cut is seasoned and grilled to perfection.
To enhance your Fazenda Experience, we invite you to explore our recently introduced Indulgent Cuts, sized to share between four or more. Featuring mouthwatering cuts of steak like Wagyu New York Strip and Dry-aged Tomahawk, these dishes are perfectly prepared to delight.
At Fazenda, the Full Churrasco Experience invites you to savour the rich traditions of South American dining, celebrating the flavours of the Pampas and the art of sharing.
