5 must-try Brazilian Dishes from Our Menu

As the largest country in South America, Brazil is known for its vibrant culture, beautiful landscapes, and of course - its delicious food. Brazilian cuisine is a fusion of African, European and Indigenous influences; resulting in a unique and diverse range of dishes.

At Fazenda, we pride ourselves in bringing the best of both Argentinian & Brazilian cuisines to our guests. In this blog, we'll share five dishes that celebrate our Brazilian heritage in particular and are a must-try for anyone looking to explore the flavours of this gorgeous country.

Picanha

The queen of Brazilian cuts, Picanha is a must-try for any steak lover.

It is taken from the top of the rump and is known for its tender, juicy texture and rich, distinctive flavour. Our meat chefs, Passadores, slowly grill our Picanha so that the fat on the outside of the meat can provide flavour as it melts into the meat during the cooking process.

We recommend you drizzle some chimichurri sauce on top, and complement it with a cold Caipirinha for a truly authentic taste of Brazil.

Porco Doce

Sweet and succulent, Porco Doce is a firm favourite amongst our guests.

This pork collar is drizzled with a honey, cinnamon and lemon sauce, resulting in a sweet and savoury flavour that is simply irresistible.

The balance between opposite flavours makes this cut a hit with anyone who loves bold and unique tastes.

Chorizo de Wagyu

If you're a fan of spice, then our Chorizo de Wagyu is one for you.

Made with Wagyu beef and a blend of spices, this sausage packs the ultimate combination in terms of heated flavours & aromas - it is a real showstopper.

Produced in a Wagyu beef farm from the borders of Scotland, this chorizo is made up of 100% Wagyu.

It's the perfect option for people that are not afraid to challenge their taste buds.

Feijoada

Feijoada is a hearty and flavourful stew that is considered by many to be the national dish of Brazil.

Made with black beans and pork, this dish is a staple of Brazilian cuisine and is often served with rice and farofa. The feijoada from our Sides Selection is characterised by a rich and complex flavour that is sure to satisfy.

Pão de Queijo

Last but not least, no list of Brazilian dishes would be complete without Pão de Queijo.

These little balls of cheesy bread are a beloved snack throughout South America and are made with tapioca flour and cheese, resulting in a chewy, cheesy texture that is simply exquisite.

We serve our Pão de Queijo warm and fresh with a truffle cheese sauce on the side, making them the perfect accompaniment to your rodizio.

These five dishes are just a small sample of the diverse and delicious cuisine that Brazil has to offer.

Whether you're a meat lover or looking to try something new, we hope that you'll join us to experience the flavours of Brazil and immerse yourself in the essence of rodizio dining.
