Relationships & Events Manager – Leeds

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Relationship and Events Manager at Fazenda Leeds.

Working alongside the Marketing and Operational teams you will be self-driven and motivated in your goal to help develop and enhance the sales, brand image and success of the business.

Responsibilities

•Identify and develop opportunities to drive business

•Create, manage and develop key corporate client relationships

•Establish brand partnerships across many sectors including hospitality, retail and tourism

•Create, develop and maintain a database for generic and targeted marketing

•Identify and work with key local influencers

•Manage the end to end process of on-site events

•Be the face of Fazenda at in-house and external networking events, including hosting impressive events

•Track and report on activity, relating it to sales and footfall in the restaurant

•Build and develop strong working relationships across all departments within the restaurant to continuously maintain product and process knowledge

•Development and maintenance of a forward planned diary of events, meetings, networking and competitor monitoring

•Work closely with the Social Media Manager specifically to ensure social media content reflects local news, activity and upcoming events

•Liaise closely with Heads of Departments in the restaurant to communicate activity and event information

•Assisting on the restaurant reception for training purposes and as required from time to time as a hostess

 

 

Personal Specification

•Two years’ business development or relationship management experience

•Strong organisational skills, self-discipline and attention to detail

•Marketing degree or equivalent (unless extensive experience in a BDM role)

•High levels of commercial knowledge and awareness regarding the food, hospitality and tourism industries

•Excellent and adaptable written and verbal communication skills

•Proactive with great initiative

•Flexibility to work a range of shifts including a combination of day times, evenings and weekends

•Experience of working as a restaurant host /receptionist

•Genuine passion for providing the best customer experience and maintaining high standards

•Immaculate personal presentation and a professional, confident and enthusiastic approach to work

 

Salary

From £25,000 to £28,000 per annum
