Access Statement

Fazenda Bar & Grill aims to ensure that all employees, guests and others who use the restaurant are treated equally and according to their needs.

The staff at Fazenda Bar & Grill recognise that some of our guests may have disabilities or additional needs, therefore thought is given to all with an impairment, which could include: allergies, mobility, sight, hearing, learning difficulties and hidden impairments.

Pre-Arrival

Accessible public transport bus stops are located approximately 100m from the restaurant and Moorfields station, which has wheelchair access, can be found approximately 200m away. An NCP car park can be found on Rumford street which is approximately 500ft away, although parking spaces can be found on Exchange Passage West, Exchange Street West and the High Street. These are all ‘Pay and Display’ spaces but are free for blue badge holders.

Arriving in Exchange Flags

Located within in Horton House of Exchange Flags behind Liverpool Town Hall, the restaurant can be accessed by all four streets leading into the square, as well as two arches leading from Chapel Street. Though the square is mainly cobbled, there is a more accessible paved pathway which follows around to the patio entrance of Fazenda. There are two steps onto the patio from the square and five steps into our double doored main entrance. An accessibility ramp is available for those who require it, which is suitable for wheelchairs. Guests are able to call for assistance at the steps of our patio by pressing our assistance button, or alternatively contact our reception team on 0151 227 2733 or liverpool@fazenda.co.uk for pre-booked visits, who will organise for the ramp to be ready for your arrival.

Reception, Bar Area & Restaurant

Upon arriving in our reception, guests will be welcomed by our reception team and shown to their table. Should guests wish to have a drink in the ambient bar area, there are a number of lower level leather chairs as well as higher level bar stools.

The layout at Fazenda means that some of our furniture can be easily moved and repositioned accordingly and is on one level wooden floor. Whilst the size of the menus are reasonable, guests may request larger menus to be printed prior to their arrival as our lighting levels are considerably lower in the evening. All of the dishes on our gourmet sides bar are clearly marked with all allergens, as with the dishes on the menu, however our servers will also be on hand to talk through the menu and all dishes in detail should you require this.

An accessible bathroom is available on the restaurant level which is well lit and well equipped.

Please note: Fazenda has two fire exits which are clearly signposted and well lit; the main entrance and a specific entrance which serves as a fire exit. In the case of an emergency evacuation, all of our staff have undertaken compulsory evacuation procedure training.
